Hey Everyone,

We had a crazy year for 2006!

Northeast Championship Wrestling is still fighting to hold events. It was just five years ago that these guys gave me my start as a referee. They had a few events this year, and on two occasions I ended up refereeing all of the matches. There was one event I was unable to make due to other commitments. NCW has an event on January 19th, at the Columbus Center in Warwick, RI.

Ruy Batello retired in 2006 as the NCW Heavyweight Champion. Obviously this makes the NCW Heavyweight Championship vacant. Ruy, it was an honor refereeing your final match! That DDT onto the belt deserved one loud “Oh My!” Good luck in whatever you do.
Yes folks… NCW is doing a tournament for the now vacant Heavyweight Championship. Please do visit their website for further information. (linked below)

Eastern Pro Wrestling had an awesome year with live events. This has been my favorite place to work in a while. With their regular schedule, television program on the internet, and ambition to do more. This promotion has two events at the end of this month! Future plans include Barre, VT and Bushkill, PA! Who knows where else EPW will be!

“The Pinnacle” Paul Lombardi has been able to go on the entire year of 2006 without losing the EPW Heavyweight Championship. How? Well, as I have refereed a handful of his title defenses, he has left the ring, got himself disqualified, or somehow managed to get his opponent disqualified. However, coming up later this month, he has two title defenses against Michael Sain, this time it seems impossible for him to pull of some kind of shenanigans to walk out with the belt, unless he of course can take Michael Sain out on his own.

EPW has also had its first Internet Pay-Per-View event. It's still available online, you may still purchase this great event for just $4.95 Once again… please visit the EPW website for more information on these! (linked below)

2006 was a great year for wrestling. Here's to 2007 to be an increase of what 2006 was! EPW has BIG plans for the year, and I know I have some plans of my own.

Happy New Year Everyone!
