Hey Everyone,

It's been forever since I last posted. I hope everyone enjoyed their summer. Independence Day was great. I kicked back, watched some DVD series sets, grilled hamburgers, and of course indulged in beer. Labor Day was nice as well. The only thing I don't like is that it marks the end of summer. The return of the cooler weather and shorter days is here. I hate it! I know I talk about it every year. I just really can't stand the climate at this point on until early summer or late spring. I am looking forward to the holidays coming up though! Plus my birthday is up in just a week!

Lots of things have gone on in the past few months. Mike Bennett and Bob Evans have been going at it. Coming up on September 23rd in Moosup, CT. These two men will face up one last time in a Steel Cage match. There is a special stipulation within this match. If Bob Evans wins, Mike Bennett will be gone for 90 days. If Mike Bennett wins, Bob Evans will be retired for good. This is a reverse stipulation from an earlier bout when Bob was banned from Plainfield for 90 days. I can only imagine how crazy this match will be. I've been the referee for their matches twice, and both times I was squashed in a corner. The first time was worse cause I was squashed not only by Mike Bennett, but immediately after Bob Evans came in to squash Bennett, and got me at the same time. The second one was Mike Bennett alone, and of course in this match Bob Evans won the EPW Television Championship. I believe this match is a must see for all wrestling fans.

What's eating “Revolution” Chris Venom? I'm not sure and no one else is either, but one thing is for sure, he has really blown up. He has turned against his now former tag team partner Fred Curry, and his fans. I remember perfectly, they had the tag team championship titles won against The Hot Shots. Fred Curry had BK Jordan pinned, and just as I was about to hit the three, in comes Chris Venom and shoves me violently. Of course with that behavior I disqualify Chris Venom and Fred Curry. Like I said, I don't know what Chris Venom's problem is but it is obvious he has become very selfish.

EPW made a visit at the Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, MA. It was very interesting to say the least. I got to check out some of the racing as we were in a unique venue. Even young pre-teen kids were racing in go-karts shaped like the real racing cars. We had a nice crowd around the ring all through our time there. It was awesome way to connect with the Seekonk community.

Northeast Championship Wrestling is working on its way back to a regular schedule. August 5th, NCW was in Dedham, MA. Saturday night NCW was at the infamous Loomis Arena in Plainfield, CT. Believe it or not, I was the only referee on for the night, and refereed all nine matches. Yes it was very hard work, and yes I was extremely exhausted and dehydrated after the event. I actually got two 32 oz Gatorades for $3 as a sale special at a near by Sunoco station. What a night it was! Cenobite refused to take his mask off even though he lost it in a recent match and has been ruled to not wear it anymore during matches. He would still attempt to put it back on again during the match and I had to stop him. In the main event, the Loomis Arena's very own Davey Loomis defeated “Old Schooll” Derek Destiny in an old school rules match to win the NCW New England Championship! Minutes after, some of the NCW fan favorites came out to celebrate the birthday of the younger sister of Davey Loomis. Interestingly enough before this match took place, Derek Destiny was insulting this very same girl.

In July I was lucky enough to actually catch a movie at the theaters! I watched Clerks II and it was awesome! Great story, jokes carried on from the original film. Even though the film is long gone from the theatres I will leave it alone for those who haven't seen it so they can be surprised when they rent it out. I wanted to catch several other films such as United 93, and Superman Returns. There was just not enough time for me to go out and see them.

Don't forget what happened five years ago, and why we are at war in the Middle East! Sure we have lost a lot of lives, and our economy has suffered a bit. People have lost their jobs all due to this tragic event, and events leading up after it. I would more than love to see this war end right now. We just can't pull right out, and not finish the job we started folks. Let's have more faith in our troops getting the job done, and damnit, support them!

Alright, that's it for this time!
