Hey Everyone, The weather is rainy, cold, and the leaves are falling. I already complained last month I think. Oh well, I will complain all I want about the weather! EPW had a great month in September! Sid Momentum captured the Television Championship on the 15th, defeating K.L. Murphy. About a week later at the Final Stand, Sid would end up losing the title to Jon Thornhill through a 4-Man Elimination match. That same night, Chunky But Funky defeated The Hot Shots to win the Tag Team Championship in a Tornado Tuxedo Street Fight. Many fans complained because I disqualified Dan Freitas in his championship match with Pinnacle Paul Lombardi. I just want to assure the fans that I did not see Lombardi shove Freitas, which then caused Freitas elbow to crash into my face. As I saw it, Fretais elbowed me in the face so then I called it. I can't take back or reverse things so long after the match. EPW also had its first ever steel cage match at The Final Stand. Brutal Bob Evans defeated The Epic Mike Bennett with a devastating pile driver. This match was very intense. I have officiated matches between these two several times. I've been squashed in the corner twice due to these men carelessness but to beat the hell out of each other. You will be able to see this exciting event at home if you were not able to make it to this one live. EPW has a highlight video available on their latest episode of challenge! Check it out on their website, announcing the DVD release of The Final Stand! A new promotion is in the works, Full Contact Wrestling. This will have a unique set of rules, and ways to win. Stay tuned for more information! North Shore Wrestling debuted in Beverly, MA at the Beverly High School last night. Pizzazz became their first ever Television Champion, as well as Turbo Tim Fury defeating two men in a tournament to become their first ever Heavyweight Champion. EPW has several events this month! Be sure to check out their website, buy their upcoming DVDs! This is only the start for EPW, many more great things are on the way! That'll be it for now! -Dan Tanaka |
