The year 2005 wasn't exactly what I expected, slightly disappointed in it but there is always the New Year with a new direction. Here's hoping that 2006 will be better than every other year I've had in wrestling and life in general! Controversy was all over the place! Northeast Championship Wrestling, battling in Rhode Island with threats from the state athletics commission, MoFo Steve Bradley making random challenges, including with Nikki Roxx! Alex Crowley and his group of men what can I say about them? Then of course, there was the match up between Paul Lombardi and Chris Venom in September for the NECW Heavyweight Championship. I am hoping I don't find myself in a situation like that one again. I hope in the future there will be more preparations with video cameras that might prevent that situation arising again. In good things, Pride are still together as a tag team, despite the attempts of Sabotage trying to break this time up through a TLC Squared match. Bob Evan's team defeated Alex Crowley's team in order to get 5 minutes alone with Crowley inside the cage. Yes, this is good despite, Bob Evans being attacked by one of his team mates at the time, Mike Bennet. Bob got his revenge in the end. Also, Frankie Arion, after several matches was finally able to defeat Johnny Idol! Johnny Idol kept leaving ringside in order to be counted out just so he could keep his championship. This time, Johnny had no choice but to stay inside the ring, because he was in a lumberjack match! Well, that's a very brief run over our year.
Sorry guys, I'm not prepared this time.
