Hey Everyone,

The weather is getting colder again... I think everyone by now can tell that I hate the colder weather. Oh well, such is life! It'll be summer again before we know it! I hope you all enjoyed your summer this year. This one wasn't that great for me, but still pretty good.

This month, NECW came off of Birthday Bash, with Autumn Aftermath on September 17th. Two championship titles changed hands on this night. “Egomaniac” Johnny Idol d. Joe Chece to win the Television Championship. However I feel if Joe Chece’s rib injury were clear, he would have been set to win his match and retain the championship. Speaking of Johnny Idol, it’s quite obvious he is now in alignment with The Hot Shots, who snuck behind Pride, under the masks of Execution.

What’s up with Michael Sain? I could have sworn he would do more damage to Fred Curry at the command of Alex Crowley…but Michael Sain refused, and walked away from the ring, enraging his manager, Alex Crowley. I’m not too sure what to make of it, we’ll have to see how things play out in the coming times.

Now onto some important issues of this night. I’m sure by now most of you know of the controversial ending of the heavyweight championship match. I would just like to assure the fans that I did not see Chris Venom’s foot under the rope as he claims, or as Bob Evans, Frankie Arion, or Fred Curry said. The video footage replayed on the video-tron, was at an angle where I could not see anything to do with a rope or Chris Venom’s foot. All I could see were Chris Venom’s shoulders on the mat, and I counted the three. I can only make a ruling on what I see and what I know. As I explained, I only saw Chris Venom’s shoulders on the mat, and the video couldn’t show any clear picture of anything going on besides Chris Venom pinned by Paul Lombardi. This is the only reason why “The Pinnacle” Paul Lombardi walked out that night, the NECW Champion.

Coming off of this weekend, the controversy continued among Chris Venom and Paul Lombardi. There were two referees involved in this match, one on the inside, and one on the outside. In the end a pin fall came into question where one referee saw Chris Venom as the winner, while the other saw Paul Lombardi as the winner. This turned into a brawl, where myself and another referee ran down to the ring to assist in breaking up the fight. There is no stopping the hatred these two men have for each other, both knocking down referees. Coming from myself, I was on the receiving end of a fist to the face first by Lombardi. As Lombardi was forced to leave the ring by his colleagues, I started to recover and check on Chris Venom amongst his colleagues. I didn’t see it coming, but he was still angered by the recent events, and plunged his fist in my face as well, putting me out again.

For those wondering, I’m doing fine, but had a headache for a while. Thank God for Extra Stregnth Tylenol!

After this event, a press conference held by NECW President Sheldon Goldberg where he announced the NECW Championship, vacated. The NECW Championship will be decided in the Iron 8 tournament coming on October 14, and 15th, both events are taking place at the Framingham Civic League.

Also, don’t forget to check out the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund Benefit event by NECW at the Good Times Emporium on Thursday, October 27th!

Well, that’s all I have for this time. I’ll be back next month!
