Hey Everyone Nothing too new here, Im just happy that the summer is on the way! Things have been a little quiet with the bookings, but thats ok. After getting sick, I guess I was replaced in one promotion. Things happen sometimes, and you just need to move on from it, and hope for another time. No worries on this end, I know it will come. New England Championship Wrestling has a busy schedule next month, one including a tournament of women of wrestling to decide the NECW Womens Champion. For more details on this, please visit NECWwrestling.com for ticket purchasing including an event earlier in the day. Thats right, two events in the same day at the Good Time Emporium in Somerville, MA. NECW will also be holding a fundraiser event for the Holy Name High School in Worcester, MA for the sports department. Also NECW will return to the Plainfield Town Hall, and the Framingham Civic League! Also at the end of the month Killer Kowalskis All-Star Wrestling will be returning to the Wallace Civic Center in Fitchburg, MA. This is a fundraising event for the NEADS organization that has took place in the past few years. This raises funds that will be used to purchase doggie play yard and grooming equipment. Now that I got through all the plugging, lets talk about what happened about a week ago at NECW. Joe Chece came out to the ring to take on then Television Champion, The Professional Ru Starr. They only battled for about forty seconds, and somehow Joe Chece got the upper hand, and power slammed Ru Starr for the win. Thats right, Joe Chece is the new NECW Television Champion! Congratulations Joe Chece! Now what else can I talk about? How about another review on beverages! This time Im making a battle of energy drinks. Coca-Colas Full Throttle vs. Sobe No Fear.
Full Throttle is like Mountain Dew, while No Fear is like carbonated Fruit Punch. If I wanted Mountain Dew Id get extreme and go get some. As much of a Coca-Cola man I am Full Throttle isnt for me. Sobe No Fear wins Well thats it for this time...talk later. Dan Tanaka |
