Hey Everyone,

It has been a bit of a busy and crazy month! As much as I can’t stand this weather, I enjoyed my time as I worked.

NCW came back finally with an exciting event in Dedham, Massachusetts for a lively and hot crowd. There are now many newcomers and returning faces to the NCW. Bryce Andrews, “Hawkeye” Evan Hunter, Davey Loomis, and Kelly Valentine are among the new wrestlers in the NCW locker room, and Pacifico made his return. On this night, new champions were crowned as Doug Summers defeated the former 69 Degrees member “Hott Stuff” Paul Hudson for the NCW New England Championship in the main event which ended with him and the new Tag Team Champions Generation Slam (Tim Pittman + Jon Thornhill w/ Amber), and the current Heavyweight Champion, Ruy Batello.

NECW spent a weekend in Framingham, Massachusetts for the Iron 8 Championship, which was also for the vacated NECW Heavyweight Championship. Pride had two bouts with The Hot Shots, one on each night. In the first night, The Hot Shots got out of the ring and left the ringside area, therefore resulting a count out, and awarding Pride the win. On the second night, it was an even more hard fought bout. The Hot Shots and Pride beat on each other to no end. I wound up crushed in a corner and can’t even remember how it happened. The next thing I notice is Dan Freitas of Pride pinned to the mat, awarding The Hot Shots the match.

NECW has also had visitors from other countries to wrestle on the roster. Rebecca Knox and Fergal Devit from Ireland. Rebecca Knox teamed up with Rob Impact to take on “El Boriqua” Danny Diaz and Amber. As you can see this was a mixed tag team match that you don’t see too often within NECW. It would have seemed Rob Impact was about to finish off Amber, but Impact’s partner, Rebecca Knox jumped in and stopped him and gave him a low blow sending Impact out of the ring. Rebecca Knox then finished off Amber for the win. It was a strange situation as I’ve haven’t seen someone attack their own tag team partner to get the win for themselves. As or Fergal Devit, he has successfully defended the NWA UK Hammerlock British Commonwealth Championship.

I sat backstage watching the Iron 8 finals with an ice pack for my shoulder. That squash in the corner earlier in the night hurt me pretty good. I was better by the morning though. Either way, the Iron 8 final of “Brutal” Bob Evans, “Revolution” Chris Venom, Joe Chece, and “The Pinnacle” Paul Lombardi had an intense battle with the scores mostly even the entire time. Like last years Iron 8, this went to overtime sudden death rules. The first person to hit a pin would be the winner. Paul Lombardi pulled it off and took home the NECW Heavyweight Championship again.

Over this past weekend, “The Pinnacle” Paul Lombardi and Joe Chece have faced each other twice. Thursday night in Somerville for NECW, Paul Lombardi retained the NECW Heavyweight Championship against Joe Chece, and on Friday night in Seekonk for Slamtech Wrestling, Joe Chece retained the SW Heavyweight Championship. There are many possibilities that could have happened. Just imagine if Joe Chece won on Thursday, and Paul Lombardi won on Friday, or if either won both nights. Crazy!

Pride also got their revenge on the Hot Shots finally, in two different street fights. Their second Street Fight included Bob Evans on team Pride, and “The Epic” Mike Bennet on The Hot Shots team.

Slamtech Wrestling also had a Halloween Costume Battle Royal. First time I ever saw Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Battle it out, as well as the Super Mario Bros, try to save the day in a pro wrestling ring. I myself dressed up in a costume as in the Halloween picture I have posted below as my signature this month.

Well, now that I have got through that. I think it’s time for me to take off and enjoy my Halloween celebration. I hope you enjoy yours.
