Hey Everyone!
Its finally Halloween! Even though I hardly celebrate this holiday anymore, I still enjoy it from watching cheesy horror movies, and The Simpsons Halloween specials. What a month this has been, I feel that I have been busier this month than any other month this year. Ive already commented on what happened at Ringside Wrestling, earlier this month. Im still not aware of whats going on with Ringside Wrestling management, but when I arrive at the Loomis Arena on November 13th, I will be speaking to someone. Rich Bass will get his, and Paul Lombardi will get his as well! If youre not familiar of what Im talking about right now, check the archived commentaries and read October 3, 2004. Wrestling Federation of America debuted in Lawrence, Massachusetts on October 15th. On this night, youd have seen the Metro Men defeat Nightbreed in a tag team street fight to retain the WFA Tag Team Championship. The Vixens of the WFA, battled out in a ladies tag team hardcore match with Tanya Lee and Coverly Ann Taylor defeating Miss Peters and Sara Sullivan. In the main event Die Hard Eddie Edwards retained the WFA Heavyweight Championship by defeating Straight Edge Brian Fury in an exciting TLC match. If you live in Massachusetts, and have been wanting to check out the Wrestling Federation of America, you will have you chance to do so on November 19th! I strongly recommend checking out this event as all matches will have a stipulation. Already set to go, Die Hard Eddie Edwards defends his WFA Heavyweight Championship against MoFo Steve Bradley in a barbed wire match! I wouldnt have expected to find myself near the border of Canada. Newport, Vermont. Once again this was with the Wrestling Federation of America. In fact, I headed up there almost immediately following the Dover, NH event. I got in Newport, VT around 3:30 am, and checked into a room. I slept in the worst bed ever, and couldnt sleep. Not to mention I had some allergies that also made it difficult to sleep. So I had a lot of time to kill before the event was to start. I had breakfast, and checked out the town. Not that theres much to do, but I stopped by a few places and found some cool mugs and presidential humor. I even stopped near the venue and took pictures of the mountains over by Lake Memphremagog.
This was another crazy night, with a tables match with Straight Edge Brian Fury defeating the Golden Greek Alex Arion after many attempts to put him through tables that just didnt seem to want to cave in. Brandon Locke proved he needs to go in for some Geography classes. There is no such place as Vermont, New Hampshire! In the main event, Nightbreed retained their tag team championship in a steel cage by defeating the Metro Men. (NOTE: Nightbreed defeated The Metro Men in a Steel Cage match in Littleton, NH on October 16th). This was an excellent night for WFA to debut in Newport, VT. Once again, if you live in the northern Vermont area, I strongly encourage to check out WFA when they return to Newport, VT on December 5th for an afternoon belltime of 5:00 pm! Around the time I was leaving the venue, the Cardinals and the Red Sox were tied in Game 1 of the World Series. Upon my arrival to my room for the night, I turned on the television and the Boston Red Sox had just won. By now, everyone knows that the Boston Red Sox have wom the World Series, setting an amazing history milestone. The best part is, they defeated the evil empire, the New York Yankees! Yes folks, I did catch more baseball this year...I beleive I will watch even more next season. I don't believe I'll be hardcore about it, but I have been growing like towards baseball again, and even more than I have before. This started last year, so don't play that card "you just say that because they won the world series finally" crap on me. Well thats all I have for now. I hope everyone enjoys their Halloween in whatever they do!
