It is finally May, and warming up outside. This makes the weather much more bearable! Ive been looking at the Game Boy Advanced SP lately, and was close to buying one but last minute decided not too. Rather than look in a store I decided to look online and see if I should get an SP or the Game Boy Player (hooks up to your Game Cube so you can play Game Boy Games on the TV screen) or the SP. Well, there is an SP with an awesome look to it. It looks just like the old NES! Thats not the best part though, some classic NES games will be released such as: Super Mario Bros. 1, Zelda 1, Bomberman, and Excite Bike! Check out Nintendo.com for more information, this one is great! In recent events, I will start with the Wrestling Alliance of Mayhem. Impact Pro Wrestling based in New York is still waging war against WAM. In the main event, the Impact Pro Wrestling heavyweight championship was decided with Myzery defeating Ricky Dominguez. During one match I was officiating, some wise guy decided it would be great to have me attacked by the pie mafia. Greg Puzio, I am looking at you. I am looking to talking with you at the next WAM event. I hope that we can settle this. Onto my first night in Somerville, MA at the Good Time Empordium with New England Championship Wrestling. Well, technically this was my first night. The last time I was there, I was in for The Night with Johnny Valliant, which I enjoyed. Thank you to Sheldon Goldberg, for having me as a guest! All right, onto what I experienced for the event. Pride attacked Adrenaline, during their match with Sabotage for the Tag-Team championship. Adrenaline brawled with Pride to the back, causing me to count them out. I think Sabotage could use some more education in wrestling. For instance, DC Dillinger thought that himself and Eddie Edwards were the new Tag-Team champions! Im sorry DC, but championships cannot change hands on count outs or disqualifications. In the main event, the man we usually know as Psycho Mike Osbourne entered the ring and announced as Michael Sain. I have no idea how this one came about, but I have a feeling Alex Crowley is behind it. Michael Sain had a hard fought battle with Maverick Wild. Just when we thought it was all over with Maverick just about finishing off his opponent, Michael kicked out, and put Maverick in the sit-out DVD to become the new NECW Heavyweight champion. Sheldon Goldberg, and the locker-room came out to give Maverick a standing ovation for holding the championship for seventeen months straight! Coming up this weekend is the New England Independent Invitational II. Eight men will compete in a tournament, and four tag teams will battle in a four-way elimination. The eight men are: Marverick Wild, Luis Ortiz, Kid Krazy, Dylan Kage, Cueball, Hurricane John Walters, Brian Fury, and Alex Arion. I wouldnt be surprised to see Maverick Wild repeat his last years win. In the four way tag-team elimination match are: Nightbreed, Black + Mini, Clinically Inclined, and Thrillogy. For more information on this event, check out the New England Independent website. I have recently sent in my resignation to the Premier Wrestling Federation Northeast. I thank PWF Northeast for the opportunities over the past two years, and wish them the best of luck in their future events. As of now, I have other interests in wrestling and feel its time to move on and pursue them. Well, thats all I have until next time, -Dan Tanaka |
