Hey Everyone, First off, Slamtech Wrestling University has started Slamtech Pro Wrestling TV Tapings. January 3, 2004, four weeks of half hour TV shows were taped. At this time, I am not sure where this will air, except that it will be a few public access stations around Rhode Island. There will be more Slamtech Wrestling TV tapings in the future. PWF Northeasts event Retribution on January 10th featured the first ever strap match. Mighty Mouth Mike Paiva taking on Zero Gravity Jason Blade. Also, this night debuted PWF Northeasts new production debut, which includes a brand new ring, guardrails, and the continuation of the PWF Tron. A special tribute video was viewed of the fellow people of the wrestling world who died in 2003. The next day, January 11th was the debut of PWF Northeasts gym event. This meaning, the event took place at the Squared Circle Academy in North Providence, RI. On this afternoon event, it was announced that Kid Krazy will defend his PWF Northeast Heavyweight championship against Johnny Curtis in an Ironman rules match. A special guest referee has been appointed for this match, and that is Ricky The Dragon Steamboat. This of course will take place at Genesis III, in Webster, MA on February 7th Ringside Wrestling shall be returning to the Loomis Arena soon. With the Loomis Arena being a converted barn, the weather has been far too cold to run an event. Well, that is all I have to talk about for now. So until next time -Dan Tanaka |
