Hey Everyone,

I’m just coming off a busy few weeks, and just worked on the final event of the year last night. I must say that this has been an awesome year of wrestling for me as I worked for NECW and WFA!

Along with my time in WFA, we’re seeing Brian Fury and Eddie Edwards battling Alex Arion and Steve Bradley. Scott Reed is making a run as the first ever WFA Cruiserweight Champion, and Brandon Locke is making waves close to the main event status. Oh yeah, how about them bra + panties matches? Everyone, I strongly recommend you check out WFA next month!

REVENGE IS MINE! If you been following what’s been going on in Ringside Wrestling, you’d know about my issues with the now former RW Heritage Champion, Paul Lombardi and the Senior Official, Rich Bass. In the recent Ringside Wrestling event on December 3rd, Paul Lombardi had a non title match against Alex Chamberlain. Alex Chamberlain got the win, and then Paul Lombardi went on to complain about the officials again! This time he got on Sean Stanley. So what happened next? Paul Lombardi offered Alex Chamberlain a title match right there and then…on one condition. That being that Sean Stanley leave the ring, and Rich Bass be the official for the match. OF COURSE! So in just a few seconds and with Rich Bass’ ridiculously fast count, Paul Lombardi got the win and retained the championship.

The next night, New England Championship Wrestling had an event at the Plainfield Town Hall…just a few minutes down the road from The Loomis Arena. Paul Lombardi was slated to take on challenger Alex Chamberlain. In this match there was two referees, one inside the ring and one outside enforcer. On the assignment sheet, I am to be the inside official and Rich Bass to be the outside enforcer. The crybaby that Paul Lombardi is, demanded we switch places or else he wouldn’t defend the title. For the fans sake, I decided that switching places would be best. The fans deserved to see this match with the title on the line. With Alex dominating in the match, Paul was about to leave ringside, as Rich Bass wouldn’t even make a count on him being on the outside! I had to step in and made sure Paul Lombardi returned to the ring! Folks, do you want to know how biased Rich Bass is? Alex Chamberlain had Lombardi finished off and pinned, and what did Rich Bass do? NOTHING! He just waltzed around the ring as if nothing was going on! This is where I got in the ring and yelled for him to start making the count…but Rich refused. Instead he decided to shove me on to the mat. That’s where I got real mad! I hate being shoved around like that! So as he turned around…I got up, I walked up to Rich, grabbed him by his belt and neck, and tossed him to the outside of the ring… Both Lombardi and Chamberlain are on their feet at this time, but Chamberlain rolls up Lombardi for a pin and with Rich Bass still out cold, I went ahead and made the count and awarded Chamberlain the Heritage Championship! I think the best part was Paul and Rich were practically crying on the way back to the locker room! I feel so much better now…

I was up in Newport, VT working for WFA again on December 5th. I had a much more interesting time around as after the event, the WFA owner Gary Langevin invited some of us out to a movie theater he owns as well! It was after hours so we were the only ones in the auditorium. Vampires, Masked Mexican throwing burritos, Pirates, a School Girl, referees (that includes me), Charlie Brown, as well as Gary himself were checking out Polar Express. I’m sure by now everyone knows that it’s a computer animated movie, that’s so realistic that at some points you ask, “Why animation? Why not use the real deal?” Who knows? There was an interesting moral behind it all with a rather unrealistic example. It’s all about a young boy who lost his faith in Santa Clause, and later learned that “seeing is believing” and then met Santa Clause in the North Pole. Since he started to believe he could hear the sleigh bells, and actually got a sleigh bell as the first Christmas gift received. Somehow he misplaced the sleigh bell. Christmas morning he gets a present from Santa Clause, and it turns out to be the very sleigh bell he lost. He rung it immediately for his little sister to hear. His parents took a look at the sleigh bell and also rung it. They couldn’t hear it because they did not believe in Santa Clause. In the long run of the movie, people are to learn the moral of you’ll see it when you believe it, rather than believing it when you see it. Polar Express is an interesting movie with Tom Hanks playing several characters in the film. I must send a thank you out to Gary Langevin for inviting us for a free movie!

Well, that’s all for now…This year has been great, and I’ll be back next week for a year in review.
