Hey Everyone,

So much for business as usual…  I tried to make these commentary entries more often, but honestly I just had no motivation and hardly any inspiration either.  I’ve been on a different journey in my personal life over the past three years and it really took me away from the up keep of content on this website.  Either way…  I’m up to more things so you should be seeing commentaries here and there, and I’m back with a new layout.

I have faced a lot since my last commentary… long story short, the woman of my dreams came into my life, I fell in love, the lung cancer she survived came back, and in the end, that was May 9th, 2008, I watched her pass on…This is why I wear the green tape around my arm with the name “Darlene” every night that I referee.  I never known it would be possible to connect with anyone in such a way I did with her.  I also never known what it was like to have death take them away.  I still miss her and love her the same.

Lung cancer is the #1 killer of ALL cancers, and yet it is the least federally funded for research.  Oh…but I forgot.  You like to believe it’s a smoker’s disease and they deserve it.  Take another look, 60% of the people who were diagnosed with lung cancer either NEVER smoked, or quit smoking DECADES prior!  Does smoking cause cancer?  Yes, but smoking ALSO causes cancer in the kidneys, stomach, cervix, pancreas, and acute myeloid leukemia.  Lung cancer kills TWICE as many women than breast cancer does…and yet breast cancer gets all of the media coverage and federal funding as if it was the ultimate killer of all killers.  I bet a ton of breast cancer victims are also smokers.

Bottom line is… it’s time for a change, get over the stigma that lung cancer is “smoker’s disease”, stop neglecting the cancer victims who truly need the help, start elevating the awareness and the priority of lung cancer research!  Congress has approved $15 million in research funding specifically for lung cancer.  All it needs is President Obama’s signature.  I ask of you to please go to the following link below, fill out the form, and it sends an email message to President Obama telling him you want this to happen!  I did it and it takes less than a minute to complete. If I could have a Christmas wish, it would be that this bill happens! I thank you in advance! http://capwiz.com/lungcanceralliance/issues/alert/?alertid=12902601

While you’re at it, become a fan of the up and coming campaign and fundraising group Lung Cancer Sucks, INC: http://www.facebook.com/LCSInc

I’ve been getting involved with some paranormal investigations with friends.  We have only done a couple of investigations, using EMP meters, photograph analysis and EVP and we have found some paranormal activity…and no I don’t mean the movie!  These investigations were either done in someone’s apartment, or in one case we were at the well known haunted Wayside Inn over in Sudbury, MA

We are also running a social network, much like MySpace or Facebook, but geared for the paranormal enthusiasts and professionals over at The North American Psychic & Paranormal Network. I had a great time down at Fort Mifflin promoting this network along with one of the founders, Chickie, and staff member, Suki.  I got a chance to check out other investigators evidence.  NAPPN is a great place to learn from many people!  If you’re interested or involved in psychic theories, the paranormal, or even UFO and Alien, come on over and join, absolutely free!  http://www.nappn.net

Well that’s what I have for this time.  Next time I will talk about the films: Paranormal Activity, The Fourth Kind, 2012, and Avatar… This won’t be just some movie review, it will be me raving and ranting!

Until then… Have a Happy Christmahanukwanzakah!
